Noel with an early version of the Rosetta Naturae sculpture

We are living in a time of change and uncertainty. But also, possibility.

A time when it is easy to become distracted in the modern world, to lose touch with ourselves and the vision for our lives. For as we have separated from the living earth that sustains and anchors us in a wider reality, and as the online digital world increasingly encroaches on our lives, with social media reshaping our reality around an abstract online universe, many people are feeling increasingly unsettled, anxious and overwhelmed.

It is now clear that it is becoming essential for our well-being that we restore a sense of balance, context and belonging in our lives, and to bring nature back into our daily reality as a pathway to return to the gentle space of deeper self awareness and knowing.

For ourselves, each other, and the wider living earth.

The Rosetta Naturae sculpture is a physical expression of these ideas.

Public talks, an exhibition and online content will share the unique story of this sculpture and its environmental message.

In the same way as the Rosetta Stone helped us to rediscover something lost through time, and as we now begin to lose our own way and get distracted and disconnected in this competitive culture and digital universe, Rosetta Naturae and it's origin story can remind us that we are an integral part of the wider living world, and by restoring this sense of connection and belonging, nature can help to restore us to ourselves, to what it means to be fully human, and bring us back into the community of life.

But first we need to find the way, for the path has become hidden behind a world of too much noise.

Rosetta Naturae offers us a clear direction for healing and restoration.

It is when we are able to walk upon the earth with a sense of belonging that we will begin to remember what it means to be more fully human.

A preview of some of the artworks that will be released on social media, and The Journal of Mindful Nature on Substack, as a run-up towards the launch of the Rosetta Naturae exhibition and public talks. The Wild Edge is the current project that Noel is exploring as a way to continue engaging mindfully and meaningfully with the earth, and sharing his experiences and teachings with his subscribers.
